Terms of sale
Who we are
Through this site we sell journals made to the specification you choose.
- Legal name: استوديو توته
- Freelance licence: FL-982043012
- City: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
- Email: hello@studiobytoth.com
Our full registration details, including the e-store authentication once it is issued, are at the foot of every page of the site.
Placing an order means you accept these terms, the Privacy policy and Returns & refunds.
Ordering, and when it becomes binding
An order holds one or more journals. You choose the specification of each, then add your details and pay.
A journal shown on the site is an invitation to treat, not an offer. The order binds both of us when payment succeeds. Your order page then opens with the order number, a summary of the options, the amount paid and the agreed delivery date, and the receipt reaches your email if you gave it.
If payment does not complete there is no order, and we start no work.
Made for you
Every journal is made after payment, to the specification you chose: format, leather colour, closure, pockets, ribbons and embossing. So it cannot be sold to anyone else, and the right to cancel within seven days for a change of mind does not apply to it. The detail is in Returns & refunds.
Prices
- Prices are in Saudi riyals, for example SAR 431.
- The price shown covers the journal and everything you added to it; a delivery fee of SAR 9 is added once per order and shown in the total before you pay.
- We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to the price.
- What you pay is the total shown on the order page before you pay; nothing is added afterwards.
- We may change prices at any time; your order takes the price shown at the moment you pay.
Discount codes
One code per order, on its stated conditions: its dates, the minimum order and how many times it can be used. The discount shows in the total before you pay.
Payment
We accept mada, Apple Pay and credit cards through our payment provider, StreamPay.
Card details are entered on the provider's page, and we never see or store them. We keep only the result of the payment and its reference number.
Changing or cancelling an order
Payment starts preparation, and you may change or cancel the order within two hours of payment, before making begins:
- Write to us within the two hours with your order number and what you want. If you cancel, we refund the full amount.
- Once making has begun, no changes or cancellation: the cover is already cut and the name embossed.
The delivery date, and if we are late
Your order arrives within 7 days of payment. Before you pay we show the expected window, from the third to the seventh day after payment, and fix it on your order as the agreed date when the payment succeeds.
If we run past that date we tell you and give you a new one. If the delay passes 15 days beyond the agreed date, you may cancel the order and we refund the full amount, under the E-Commerce Law.
We may pause new orders for a while; when we do, a clear notice appears on the site.
Embossing
We emboss the text as you type it, as you see it in the preview.
Before you pay we show your text in its real typeface and ask you to confirm it. Checking the spelling is your responsibility, and we cannot return or replace a journal because of a spelling mistake you confirmed. The detail is in the Embossing guide.
Material and colour
The cover material is the one the design page describes for the option you chose. Colours differ between screens, so what you see on your phone may not match the real colour exactly, and the preview on the site is a digital drawing, not a photo of the piece itself.
Limits of liability
We are responsible for defects and for any order that differs from what you bought, and we put those right by remaking or refunding. We are not liable for indirect damage, or for loss caused by misuse or by damage after delivery.
Complaints
Write to hello@studiobytoth.com with your order number and we will work to put it right. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may report it to the Ministry of Commerce through the Balagh Tijari app or on 1900.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the E-Commerce Law and its Implementing Regulation, and the Kingdom's courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
